The Marathon Maniac Pace Team provides a pace leader and group experience for athletes who wish to finish the race within a specified time.
Each pace team group is led by an experienced distance runner (i.e., Pace Team Leader) who serves as a moving coach throughout the race. Pace Team FAQ.
Marathon Maniac Pace Team Leaders are provided for the Marathon from the 3:00 to 5:20 hour mark and include; 3:00, 3:05, 3:10, 3:20, 3:25, 3:30, 3:35, 3:40, 3:50, 3:55, 4:00, 4:05, 4:20, 4:35, 4:50, 5:05 and 5:20.
The pace times offered for the Marathon are designed to mirror Boston Marathon qualifying times. Historically, runners who beat their qualifying standard by a larger amount of time are more likely to be accepted into the Boston Marathon. For the 2019 Boston Marathon, the cut-off for qualifying times was drawn at those who beat their qualifying standard by 4 minutes and 52 seconds or faster. More info.

Marathon Maniac Pacer Team Leaders are provided for the Half Marathon from the 1:30 to 3:00 hour mark. The pace times offered include; 1:30, 1:40, 1:45, 1:50, 2:00, 2:10, 2:20, 2:30. 2:45 and 3:00.
