Principal 5K Road Race
It starts at 8:30 am on Sunday, October 15. Court Avenue District, 300 Court Avenue, Des Moines, IA 50309.

You can partner your 5K registration with Special Olympics Iowa Unified Pairing program. This an excellent opportunity for IMT Des Moines Marathon athletes to “partner up” with a Special Olympic athlete and participate in the 5K Road Race together. Click here.

MercyOne Children’s Hospital Kids Run
It starts at noon on Sunday, October 15, at the Science Center of Iowa, 401 W. Martin Luther King Jr. Pkwy. Des Moines, IA 50309.
Benefits the Science Center of Iowa.
Distances, up to 1 mile, vary based on academic grade level; however, children may participate in the distance best suited for personal development.
Each child receives an official race-specific bib, participation item, finisher medal, post-race food, entertainment, and more!
