Registration Options

Online
More and more races across the country are offering online registration as the only race registration option. In 2011, 92% of IMT Des Moines Marathon athletes registered online as their preferred method of registration. This year, it is the only race registration option.

The IMT Des Moines Marathon has partnered with getmeregistered.com to make the online registration process easier and more affordable for you.

In Person
You may register for any of the IMT Des Moines Marathon races at the Scheels Sports & Fitness Expo on Friday, October 19 from 3 - 8 p.m. or Saturday, October 20 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

You are able to register in person but are not guaranteed a proper fitting race shirt or personalized race number/bib. You will receive a race number/bib and Sportag timing device.

Please note that athlete packet pick up is not offered on race day.

Athlete Packet Pick Up
All registered athletes will complete the race registration process by attending the Scheels Sports & Fitness Expo on Friday, October 19, from 3:00 - 8:00 p.m. or Saturday, October 20, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m with extended packet pick to 8 p.m.

Make sure you don't leave the Scheels Sports & Fitness Expo without your race number/bib, Sportag timing device, athlete packet, and race shirt. Please note that athlete registration and/or athlete packet pick up is NOT offered on race day.
