Pasta Dinner
The Pasta Dinner is held in conjunction with the Scheels Sports & Fitness Expo at Veterans Memorial Auditorium on Saturday, October 20 from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m.
Each year more than 500 athletes and fans celebrate the sport of the marathon by carbo-loading on a never ending buffet of pasta in downtown Des Moines. This is a great opportunity for you and your support team to enjoy the evening and excitement of the race with fellow athletes.
IMT Des Moines Marathon dignitaries, elite athletes, and special guests will be on hand to welcome you to Des Moines, entertain you and make sure you get plenty to eat before race day. The Pasta Dinner typically sells out. You are encouraged to purchase your tickets in advance.
